Licensed audiologist Star Lange-Richey, AuD, CCC-A, has been providing audiology services in the Pensacola area since 2014. At Riesberg Institute in Pensacola, Florida, Dr. Lange-Richey works with both children and adults in the diagnosis and treatment of auditory disorders.
Dr. Lange-Richey earned a Bachelor of Arts, Summa Cum Laude in 2010 at the University of Akron, in Ohio, and obtained her Doctorate of Audiology in 2014 from the Northeast Ohio Au.D. Consortium, a collaborative program between The University of Akron, Kent State University, and The Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Lange-Richey completed her externship with The Cleveland Clinic, where she performed clinical rotations in all aspects of audiology. Dr. Lange-Richey is licensed in the State of Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
As a student, she was awarded The Kenneth Berger Outstanding Student in Audiology award and was a recipient of The American Academy of Audiology’s Empowering Students Scholarship. She was also recognized by the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association as a distinguished audiology student.
As a provider, Dr. Lange-Richey enjoys working with patients and their families to help them find the best treatment plan for their hearing and communication needs. Her professional development interests include auditory rehabilitation, and she enjoys counseling her patients about skills for better communication. She strives to help her patients hear better through the use of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
